The company was established in 2015 by Tracy Cromar, who has over 20 years of experience across a variety of sectors and firmly believes in building partnerships of trust and confidence with clients.
Working with businesses across the whole spectrum of industries, the one thing that unites them is a focus on customer satisfaction.
What makes us different?
TLC Accounts combines streamlining processes and problem-solving with its trademark warm, professional approach, giving you an efficient service that is tailored to your needs.
“What makes
us happy at TLC is a satisfied client. This is all about us making your life
easier,” says Tracy.
“We
like to be proactive and solve problems for clients that sometimes they don’t
even realise they have.
“There is often a more efficient way of doing things that
can be found with a little bit of thought and ingenuity.
“And
it’s that idea of building trust in the way I go about my work that I think is
different.”

About Tracy
While Tracy was studying at college, she worked as a care assistant but her skills in finance saw her eventually working in the office.
However, it turned out the company had nursing homes and a cleaning company in Glasgow. So when the opportunity came up to move down and take over the office administration there, she jumped at the chance.
She trained in SAGE, building her knowledge in accounts with support from the external accountant, filing quarterly returns and processing payroll.
“I really enjoyed dealing with the numbers. I have no love of basic administration but wanted to be working with figures,” she says.
She returned to Aberdeen, working as an office manager in the construction industry. Encouraged by the great feedback from the accountants she was dealing with, TLC Accounts was born.
Her first client was her previous employer and from there, the company has gone from strength to strength.
Now dealing with businesses from all aspects of life, TLC Accounts continues to grow. But Tracy retains her love of numbers and figuring out efficiencies.
“TLC is not just a name,” says Tracy, “The ‘tender, loving care’ means my clients can have absolute faith that their accounts
are in safe hands.”
